Hi, I'm Zarah and I'm the founder of Ochre & Ginger.

I never really took my graphic design skills seriously as I always thought I wasn't a pro and I wasn't good enough to be able to design for a living. 

But then the coronavirus pandemic came and the lockdown in my country did too. Like everyone else, I felt cooped up and just felt the need to occupy and distract myself from what was happening. 

I did a lot of things. Things I normally like, like baking and cooking. I also tried doing new hobbies, like painting. In addition to all those, I revamped my office too.

I had a eureka moment when I scoured the internet for some wall art and decor that I could add to my office space. I thought, 'I was already painting and my partner, Josh, just downloaded Photoshop for me in his PC, why not make my own and share my love for designing and homeware?'

So there you go. 

You'll see a combination of painted and graphic elements in most of my creations which I believe gives a great contrast and uniqueness to designs. Hope these homeware will bring color and vibrance to your homes <3
